Galloway Twp., NJ The 蘑菇短视频 Oratorio Society and Chorale will present its annual spring concert event, An Evening of Opera Choruses on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 7:00 pm in the Performing Arts Center on the Pomona campus.

 

This years musical extravaganza will feature popular choruses of well known operas such as Verdis Il Trovatore, and Gershwins Porgy and Bess. Selections from other well known composers, such as Handel and Puccini, will also be featured.

 

The performance will be directed by Professor of Music, Beverly Vaughn, who will be accompanied by Rosemarie Barbera. Vocals will be presented by Associate Professor of Computational Science, Louis Dechiaro, and several members of the 蘑菇短视频 choir and the community.

 

Even if you are not a fan of opera, said Bev Vaughn, you will recognize these famous choruses from some of the worlds most beautiful operas.

 

Tickets for An Evening of Opera Choruses can be purchased at the Performing Arts Center and are $8 for the general public, $6 for 蘑菇短视频 students.
