Food Assistance
Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ’s Food Assistance Program empowers students by ensuring reliable access to nutritious food.
Established in 2015 through a partnership between the Student Senate and the Board of Trustees, the program supports students facing food insecurity through on‑campus pantries, dining dollars, and connections to community resources. With funding from the University and Student Senate, and strong partnerships with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Sustainability Farm, and local organizations, Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ provides open‑choice pantries that give students the flexibility, dignity, and support they need to thrive.
Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ students who are currently enrolled at the University are eligible to participate in the Food Assistance Program.
- Upon completion of the enrollment form, students are able to visit all campus pantries.
- Although we are fortunate enough to not have limitations on the number of visits, the program works on a limited budget and must support all students. Therefore, we request that students take only what they personally need as an individual from the pantry. Students can find support for their families .
- Please note, due to our limited resources, not all items may be available at all times, and some items have quantity limitations.

Pantry Operations FAQs
The phone numbers associated with each pantry location are available while the Osprey Pantry is open. For non-emergency assistance during other regular business hours, please call Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Cares at (609) 652-4463.
The Osprey Pantry is closed when the university is closed. The pantry is also closed on the weekends.
Bag availability is based on donations, so students are highly recommended to bring a reusable shopping bag to the pantry.
The Osprey Pantry is available only for current, matriculated Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ students for the current semester. Students must re-enroll in the Food Assistance Program each semester they would like to visit the pantry.
Employment and volunteer opportunities vary, so email FoodAssistanceProgram@stockton.edu to check for openings.
The pantry strives to offer a variety of nutrient and personal care items to help students thrive while taking classes. Inventory frequently rotates and varies.

As part of an ongoing effort to support our students, Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ is promoting food assistance programs. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is a federal program that can help individuals and families with low incomes buy the groceries they need.
