Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program - Spring 2026

GERO 4905 PRACTICUM: NEW JERSEY GERIATRIC WORKFORCE ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM (GWEP)

The GWEP program offers an evidence-based immersive interprofessional experience (IPE) where student teams will give presentations and conduct health assessments for the residents of The Village of St. Peter’s Senior Housing Community in Pleasantville, NJ. Students will also create and implement wellness plans for the residents under faculty supervision. We invite sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students interested in health care or gerontology to apply. Fluency in Spanish preferred, but not required.

The SPRING 2026 program is a 2-credit placement that takes place on Thursdays, 11 am – 2 pm.
